The Opportunity: The WSDOT Office of Human Resources and Safety is currently hiring a Reasonable Accommodation / Leave Specialist to fill a Human Resource Consultant 4 vacancy in Olympia, Washington. The selected incumbent will serve as the senior human resource expert responsible for administering the agency program for compliance, administration, guidance, and resolution of issues under the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA), Washington Law Against Discrimination (WLAD), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Washington Family Leave Act (WFLA), and the Washington State Shared Leave program. This position provides interpretation and explanation of WAC’s, RCW’s, Collective Bargaining Agreements, policies and procedures, as well as specific processes that apply to reasonable accommodation and legally protected leave.
