Normal Work Hours: 8:30am – 5pm

Northwest Harvest is an independent hunger relief nonprofit that provides more than 30 million pounds of food annually to hungry people throughout the state of Washington through an established network of more than 370 food banks, schools and meal programs. The Data Entry Coordinator is a non-exempt, full-time position and reports to the Donor Relations Supervisor and is responsible for data entry into and maintenance of The Raiser's Edge database.
Under the direction of the Donor Relations Supervisor, the Data Entry Coordinator has the following duties and responsibilities:
1) Enter all (non-food) donations (cash, pledges and in-kind contributions) into Raiser's Edge database system and apply coding for each record in an accurate and timely manner.
2) Download all online donations and integrate into the Raiser's Edge database system.
3) Process monthly recurring payments through the online system.
4) Create queries and generate reports, as requested by the Donor Relations team or key staff.
5) Track and update donor contact information, including emails and mailing addresses. Provide mail and email lists to Community Engagement Department for print and email newsletters.
6) Perform data entry with accuracy and consistency in coding of data. Eliminate duplicate records.
7) Perform month-end closing of data entry to ensure accuracy and to reconcile with accounting.
8) Provide general assistance to Raiser's Edge users, as needed.
9) Ensure that batch paperwork is filed / and maintain records filing system.
10) As needed, research and confirm matching gift inquiries (both by mail and online) in a timely fashion to ensure that matching gifts are made to NWH.
11) Answer donor questions regarding credit card donations and recurring gifts.
12) Other duties as assigned by the Donor Relations Supervisor or Donor Relations Director.
