Link Staffing Services provides temporary staffing services for large and small business and contractors requiring skilled crafts and trades to light-industrial, semi-skilled and general labor. These positions are for long term assignments that could possibly become full time with the client depending on performance and the company hiring needs.
Shifts: Swing Shift 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Graveyard 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Location: Renton - Not located on a convenient bus route
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with the 1 to 2 years experience in metal fabrication, forklift and machine operations, carpentry, or manufacturing. Must have excellent math skills and have the ability to convert inches to decimals. Previous experience using a grinder, forklift, and basic hand tools required. Reads and understands the importance of accurate paperwork and following standard procedures.
Job Description
Experience using overhead cranes safely highly desirable
Stacks parts on pallets correctly by part number and size
Abe to use the measuring tape, record and track daily production accurately
Must have proven track record of excellent attendance and performance
Understands the basic safety procedures for lifting and forklift operations
Understands the importance of caring for equipment and electrical cords
Wears personal protective equipment at all times and uses all equipment safely
Works well with coworkers and communicates with other personnel on all shifts
Uses time efficiently to maximize production
Keeps a clean and organized work area
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
