East Hill Driving School has an immediate need for multiple Driver’s Education Instructors to work part-time, 3 to 4 days per week for a total of 15 sessions. The greatest need is for teachers who are available when teens are out of school which is predominately during the summer as well as after school and Saturdays during the school year. The employer is very flexible and will work with instructor’s schedules and vacation dates during the year.
The employer uses a Power Point and student workbook curriculum for the 15 session classes and are seeking teachers that can teach both in the classroom and in the car. The employer will provide 100 hours of Washington State-required driving instructor training at no charge.
No experience is necessary but job seekers must have excellent communication skills, be friendly, patient, and punctual. Must be available during after school hours and Saturdays, and during most of the summer. Must be able to work 3 to 4 days per week and 15 + hours per week.
High School Diploma/GED is required, must have a clean driving record and have been licensed to drive for at least 5 years, valid Washington driver’s license required, and due to insurance purposes must be at least 21 years of age.
