Job Description
Jon-Don is hiring for an Automotive, Small Engine, HVAC Mechanic/Technician. High volume repair center seeking a qualified Mechanic/Technician to repair a variety of industrial equipment.
Regular business hours Monday - Friday 8-5pm

Applicants must own a complete set of personal work tools and be proficient in mechanical repairs through previous work experience or training in areas such as automotive, small engines, hydraulics or refrigeration (universal 608 or 609). Small Engine repair work and experience with related mechanical fields (electrical, plumbing and automotive) are beneficial.
Mechanic/Technician Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy
* Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
* Communicate any/all parts needs
* Examine the equipment/vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is needed
* Document work performed
* Maintain a clean, safe work environment
* Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Required Skills

Mechanic/Technician requirements include:
* At least 1 year of mechanical and electrical repair in any of the following fields: Automotive, Small engine, HVAC, Hydraulics, Bench Tech or refrigeration (universal 608 or 609)
* We welcome ASE certifications but it is not mandatory
* Ability to work efficiently and multi task in a fast paced environment
* Positive attitude, self motivated, team player, willing to learn and grow
