SUMMARY:
Perform cable assembly operations to build high-quality cables and wire harness products according to schedules to meet customer on-time delivery commitments
JOB DETAILS
• Day shift Available – 6:30AM – 3:00PM
• Swing shift Available – 4:00PM – 12:30AM
• Full time positions
• $11.00 - $11.35/Hour (Day shift is $11.00 per hour/Swing Shift is $11.35 per hour)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Build simple point-to-point wire cables using standard work documents to meet identified levels of quality and productivity
· Identify cables and wires with use of basic color code sequence
· Complete all necessary paperwork relating to the building of cable assemblies
· Demonstrate a high level of creativity. Continuously looks for ways to improve and increase quality and efficiency
· Complete the assembly of electrical components by means of:
o Acceptable processing
o Utilizing hand tools and automated machines and components
· EAI responsibility is to work in conjunction with customer drawings, parts list, bill of materials, wire diagrams, schematics, tables and work instructions.
· Responsible for work area clean up and work bench organization to 5s standards
· Meet company attendance standards and exhibit predictable and consistent daily attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Three months of related experience
· Able to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions and standard work documents in English language.
· Adaptable and flexible to work additional hours including weekends on short notice to complete orders.
· Able and willing to work overtime as required. Some positions require working a 10 or 12 hour schedule as an essential duty.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Regular sitting and standing throughout the day to accomplish tasks
· Manual dexterity used frequently with repetitive finger motion
· Able to accurately and safely operate wire harness assembly machines and hand tools
· Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
· Other conditions include frequent reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, crouching or stooping
· Hearing and speaking required regularly
· Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, ability to identify colors and the ability to adjust focus
This job opportunity is located in Kent, WA near IKEA. The company does require a screening process which includes background and drug screen. All candidates must pass Color blind and blueprint tests.
