Railcar Unloader-Renton

JOB Description

Railcar Unloader: $13.00/hr+ benefits (raise at 6 months and 1 year)

Inter-rail Transport of Orillia is currently looking to fill multiple openings. We work with BNSF railroad to ensure vehicles are taken off train cars and parked in a parking lot next to the track. We pride ourselves on accomplishing this task safely while providing a high quality service to the railroad and to the car manufactures that trust us with their product.

We are currently hiring railcar unloaders. In a nutshell an unloader is responsible for removing chocks from the tires of vehicles that arrive on train cars and then safely driving them off train and into the connecting parking lot. After 30 days this positions pays $13.00/HR with a raise at 6 months and another after a year. Medical/Dental/Vision start at 90 days and after a year your become eligible for 401K and profit sharing.

The ideal unloader will possess the following qualities:

·         Ability to arrive on time, every time (start times varies between 6 and 7:30am)

·         Able to physically lift 40 pounds from varying heights and body positions

·         Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 16 feet

·         High attention to detail and safety

·         Can follow instructions there first time and work independently to accomplish the task at hand

·         Available to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays. We are open everyday

·         Ability to work from varying body positions including overheard, and while on knees/bending down

·         Flexible schedule

·         Sports minded individual who is ear to work hard, remain safe and motivate others
