AccentCare is looking for experienced, compassionate caregivers for a live in position, Monday-Friday, in the Bothell, WA area. The purpose of an AccentCare CarePartner is to provide non-medical support in order to enable clients to remain independent in their homes or assisted living facilities. AccentCare is looking for reliable caregivers with a CNA or HCA and relevant work experience. It is also important that applicants can pass a background check and have access to reliable transportation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report to shift by the designated start time.
• Complete homemaking/housekeeping and transportation duties as described in the care plan.
• Assist with personal care activities for the client, as described in the care plan.
• Use good judgment in all activities to meet client care needs as described in the care plan.
• Ability to identify specific client needs not currently addressed in the care plan and report these needs to Client Manager.
• Ability to identify changes in the client's condition and to report them to the Client Manager.
• Provide a safe, comfortable and therapeutic client environment.
• Document client's condition and response to care provided.
• Submit timecards and care notes via fax or email accurately and on time on a weekly basis.
Minimum Requirements:
• Current license (CNA or HCA) in the state of Washington
• Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
• Current Driver's License
• Negative TB test from the last 2 years
• Minimum of 6 months relevant work experience is preferred
