Job Title: Individual Support Counselor – Supported Living Program
Primary Responsibilities:
1. To promote individual growth by daily implementation of task analysis’s, recreation charts, and all other support services of ISP’s.
2. To provide opportunities for personal and emotional growth by encouraging independence in decision-making.
3. To initiate, promote, and coordinate involvement and integration in community activities.
4. To establish and maintain accurate and detailed records in accordance with county and state guidelines and Camelot Society policies and procedures.
5. To coordinate planning, preparing, and serving meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual needs.
6. To ensure that all county and state health, safety, and sanitation codes are adhered to on a daily basis or as scheduled.
7. To attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
8. To directly supervise individual self-administration of medication per Camelot Society Policies and Procedures manual.
9. To ensure individual human constitutional rights in a responsible manner.
10. To present self as a role model in a positive and professional manner in contacts with individuals, agencies, and the community.
11. To use your personal vehicle to transport individuals on community outings and making sure all safety rules are followed.
12. To work scheduled shifts as assigned, obtaining permission for any changes.
13. To remain flexible to needed schedule changes for individual or program needs.
14. To look for and complete non-routine tasks, keeping busy throughout shifts.
