Seattle Theatre Group is recruiting a "Season Programming Manager" - Seattle

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) is recruiting a Season Programming Manager in Seattle.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

1.      Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects in a timely manner.

2.      Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.

3.      A high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with STG Staff, Agents, Venues, Artists, and Managers.

4.      Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills.

5.      Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

6.      Proficient MAC skills- including Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software.

7.      Proficient math skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

8.      Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast paced environment.

9.      College degree in related field preferred.

10.  Minimum 4 years music industry experience, preferably in an environment similar to STG.

11.  Ability to work various hours and schedules as events may require.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

1.      Develop economically sustainable season programming utilizing STG's venues (Paramount, Moore, Neptune) that meets the organization's mission.

2.      Negotiate and prepare performance offers and manage shows through their completion.

3.      Create, track, and manage show budgets.

4.      Coordinate season programming details with all relevant STG departments, including: Marketing, Production, Education, Development, Finance, and Patron Services.  This includes leading efficient regular meetings as well as ongoing day to day communication.

5.      Coordinate holds and communicate closely with Broadway Across America

6.      Foster organizational buy-in for season programs as an essential part of the booking process.

7.      Settle season shows.

8.      Develop and maintain agent, artist, management, and STG staff relationships.

9.      Represent STG throughout the community, both locally and nationally- attending meetings and conferences as may be required from time to time.
