Experienced administrative assistant needed for the School of Teaching ESL, a nonprofit adult education program. Full time. Start as soon as possible, no later than July 28. The position requires a combination of customer service skills (via phone, email, and face to face) and behind the scenes administrative work. Great position for someone who enjoys working with the public and doing support tasks; likes variety, and can handle multi-tasking.
Expertise with website maintenance, using WordPress;
Expertise with all Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and Office Live
Ability to design forms and promotional materials using MS office and Adobe products;
Experience with database management;
Ability to integrate technologies as needed to meet needs and adapt to new technologies as needed;
Detail oriented;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Excellent customer service skills;
Discretion with private information;
Able to represent the school in a professional manner in all settings;
Able to work independently and with other staff to meet goals;
Desired: previous experience working in an educational setting and/or working with people from diverse backgrounds. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
