We will have day and swing shifts available. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform warehouse functions in a productive and safe and confident manner. The positions require employees to receive product, put product away, pick orders, stage product for shipping, load and unload trucks, using RF scanners, and other warehouse technologies. Swampers: Responsible for the unloading of trucks by hand plus the accurate counting and stacking of (sometimes heavy) merchandise by hand. Must be able to communicate effectively and take direction from Forklift drivers. Other responsibilities include the loading of trucks by hand, from the nose of the trailer to the tail end.Trailers must be loaded in a timely fashion. Loaders are responsible for loading the trailer with (sometimes heavy) freight high and tight plus left to the right, building tight walls in the trailer until it's full. Inventory / Storing In charge of storing containers in the yard until it is time for them to be pulled and worked on the dock. Containers and the freight inside the containers will be your responsibility until it gets worked on the dock, then it is sent out for delivery (you will be in charge of scheduling deliveries as well). Responsibilities include the the scheduling of the freight coming and going to be stored as well as using freight management software systems like WMS to capture the accurate Inventory of all trailers and freight you are responsible for.
