Entry Level, Full Time Warehouse and Documentation Agent
Casual Warehouse Associate and Driver, June through August
Universal Freight Forwarders, a locally based international freight forwarder is hiring for the above position(s).
Position will require employee to perform a wide variety of tasks including the following:
- Unload trucks with forklift
- Deliver freight to airlines in a Class C truck
- Stack and Shrink wrap cartons on to pallets
- Label freight
- Screen Freight using X Ray Technology
- Create Export Documents
- Organize Export Documentation
- Customer Service
Position will offer and require very significant overtime and working nights and weekends.
Our core business is transportation of perishables to international locations.
Job Requirements:
- Computer skills including the ability to utilize Word, Excel, and Outlook at a basic level.
- High School Diploma
- Age 21 or older
- Basic Math Skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening test
- Good Driving record
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
- Ability to perform physical work for long periods of time.
- Past experience in an environment requiring physical activity
Helpful Skills
- Experience in Transportation
- College Level Logistic Courses
- Foreign Language
