Database Programmer / System Administrator
The Database Programmer / System Administrator oversees all aspects of the SQL Server environment. The Database Programmer / System Administrator makes sure the system meets the guidelines for high availability (HA) minimizing down time in the case of a system failure and also is responsible for all aspects of the data including data access, integrity, and analysis.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Applicant should possess a BA, BS or higher computer degree, or should have significant related computer work experience in the lieu of a degree.
- Experience maintaining a HA relational database environment.
- Knowledge of RDBMS coding languages such as TSQL, Stored Procedures,queries, MDX, the .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR) and Crystal Reports Basic Syntax.
- Able to develop comprehensive project work plans.
- Able to effectively work in a management capacity and make sound decisions on an independent basis.
- Able to learn new technology and/or functional areas quickly and thoroughly.
- Able to properly delegate work and be overall responsible for its delivery.
