3M Corporation in Seattle is seeking to fill a full-time Production Technician 1 for the Advanced Materials Division located in Seattle, Washington.
The Production Technician is responsible for performing assigned functions related to all aspects of production volume manufacturing and packaging of glass frits and powders while maintaining strict adherence to safety rules, environmental controls and production operations and cleaning procedures.
3M prefers previous manufacturing experience and the position requires working a fixed 2nd or 3rd shift depending upon shift availability, working holidays as needed, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and intermittent exposure to high temperature furnaces. In addition this job may require weekend work, working overtime and short notice shift coverage. Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M employment testing as part of the selection process.
