United Way is recruiting, training and empowering 100 Fuel Your Future Summer Corps members to join a team of change agents working to end childhood hunger in King County! You understand the impact one person can make. Can you see yourself or someone you know:
- Helping kids and teens access healthy food
- Ending summer learning loss by keeping kids in your community engaged all summer long, and
- Saving low income families an average $316 in grocery money each summer month?
Our members work to expand sites that provide free meals during the summer by planning and leading activities for kids and families, serving meals and snacks, and doing community outreach.
