The Nature Conservancy - 4 amazing positions - Exe Dir, Marketing Coord, Economic Lead, Manager

The Washington Chapter of The Nature Conservancy currently has several job openings.

Emerald Edge Program Director (Job ID 44138) oversees all aspects of the implementation of the Emerald Edge business plan, covering the 70 million-acre Emerald Edge including leading and managing a cross-boundary team working to conserve the world’s largest temperate rainforest, a complex international marine ecosystem and one of the world’s most significant networks of indigenous communities. This is an extraordinary leadership and conservation opportunity to work in one of the world’s most spectacular and diverse regions. The preferred location for this position is Seattle with location within the region required.  Closes 5/15/16.

Community Economic Development Lead (Job ID 44181) will drive the effort to determine TNC’s role in catalyzing systemic change across rural economies in the Emerald Edge.  This position is responsible for leading the development of a system scale economic opportunity strategy to guide the program’s thinking, identify the best opportunities for advancing community economic development in-line with a regional, triple bottom line framework, and identify and develop fund and investment opportunities to advance system change.  With an eye for opportunities that will create conditions for change across multiple communities, s/he will be experienced with community economic development and conditions necessary for entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development at a community level.  In addition to the work in the Emerald Edge, this position will work with the TNC Global Lands Team to help guide our community economic globally.  Closes 5/25/16.
Moses Coulee Land Manger (Job ID 44180).  As a member of the Stewardship Program, the Moses Coulee Land Manager develops, manages and advances conservation programs, plans and methods across a 33,000 acre system of arid land preserves and conservation easements in Central Washington, including, the Moses Coulee, McCartney Creek, Beezley Hills, and Badger Mountain preserves.  The Land Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of on-the-ground stewardship and restoration actions, increasing visibility of the Conservancy’s work, securing and managing grants, and forming strong relationships with partner organizations and the local community. This position closes on 5/25/16.

Marketing Intern (Job ID 44136)
The Marketing Intern will research and carry out marketing initiatives such as social media, media campaign, membership outreach and events.  This position closes on 5/7/16
