Pay rate is $11.35/hr.

Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine cable assembly operations to produce quality products in a timely manner.
Duties:
· Performs copper or fiber manufacturing processes following pick ticket, basic drawings, MI’s and process helpers to a high level of quality and efficiency.
· Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools: heat gun, hand crimpers, power screwdriver, solder pot, ruler and other machines such as pinning machines and automatic wire strippers.
· Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence.
· Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of cable assemblies.
· Responsible for clean up and bench organization.
· Responsible for tool inventory.
Qualifications:
· Ability to read and understand basic verbal and written instructions, drawings, MI’s and Workmanship standards.
· Understanding of measurements using a ruler or tape measure.
· Written skills required to complete documents and forms.
· Six months related assembly experience or training.
· Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.
· Ability to adapt to schedule changes with a positive attitude.
· Detail oriented.
Physical Demands:
· Regular sitting and standing throughout the day to accomplish tasks.
· Manual dexterity used regularly with repetitive finger motion.
· Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
· Other conditions include frequent reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, crouching or stooping.
· Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, the ability to identify colors, hand/eye coordination, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
