Event Specialist

Advantage Solutions is hiring for multiple part-time Event Specialists to perform product demonstration in stores such as Sam’s Club, Safeway and other large retailers.  These positions are approximately 28 hours per week and the salary is $11.00 to $13.00 per hour depending upon the locations.

 

The responsibilities of this position are to set up, break down, product preparation and sampling during in-store demonstrations.  Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales.  Assess customer’s individual usage needs and interests in order to best recommend products and complete all call reports, paperwork and on-going personal training by required deadlines.

 

High School Diploma/GED is preferred or equivalent job-related experience.

Experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, brand promotion or retail/grocery is preferred but not required.

Must be able to stand comfortably for up to 6 hours a day and interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing manner with management, clients and consumers in any setting.

Must be able to work independently and have daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access.
