Neighborhood House, building strong families and strong communities since 1906, has an immediate need for a full-time Education and Career Navigator. This position will entail assessment, outreach and collaboratively develop and strengthen effective short and long term education and employment plans with clients to meet goals for self-sufficiency. This position will connect with King County residents to short and long-term health care training programs at the colleges and will provide comprehensive support and navigation services that facilitate their success – namely graduation, employment and career progression in living-wage, high demand positions.
An AA degree in Human Services, Social Work Education or a healthcare related field is a requirement along with a minim of three years professional experience in case management, instruction, and/or career development services with adults or any combination of the above which provides equivalent preparation.
The salary is $18.42 - $20.44 per hour depending upon experience.
