In order to become a Security Officer at Pacific Security, applicants must be able to meet the following minimal requirements:
- 18 years of age (21+ for armed positions and 25+ for driving positions)
- Can lift and carry up to 10 pounds
- Work in all outside elements including cold, rain, and heat
- Submit to and successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation, including drug screening
- Possess basic computer/smart phone skills including typing and navigating access to various applications
- -Able to speak, read and write effectively in English
- Meet and successfully interact with co-workers, supervisors, clients, and the public
- Must be mentally alert at all times
- Be able to maintain self-control and professionalism in stressful situations
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Honorable discharge from the military, if you served in the Armed Forces
- Must obtain and maintain WA State Security Officer (must pass 8 hour pre-assignment class)
For management or experienced positions, two (2) years' experience in the Security Industry or related field (Law Enforcement, Military) is preferred.
