Valley Tool Company is seeking a full-time or part-time Precision Tool & Cutter Grinder for their Kent location.
Position entails sharpening drills, fluting roughers, OD and end grinding HSS and carbide end mills, sharpening reamers and wheel cutters and various cutting tools. In addition will perform counter sales and customer service as needed.
A minimum of one year of hands on experience in sharpening tools is a requirement but the employer will train on other parts of the job. Requirements are basic computer skills, good customer service, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and also must be able to pass a background check that spans the last 7 years.
Own tools and concave and convex radius grinding is a plus.
Hours are full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. but employer can be flexible on hours and candidates can work part-time if they prefer.
Salary is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour depending upon experience.
