POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Seattle’s Office of Intergovernmental Relations (OIR) promotes the interests of the City of Seattle with local,
regional, tribal, state, federal and international governments. By providing leadership in these areas, OIR
pursues the legislative priorities of the Mayor and City Council and promotes the policies and goals of
Seattle's city government. As part of this mission, OIR oversees the City’s federal priorities, policies and
strategies. We currently have the opportunity to bring in a strong, analytical Federal Relations Director to be
part of the OIR team.
