Resourceful HR is recruiting a Contract Payroll Benefits Specialist
We are currently looking for a service focused Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our downtown Seattle client's HR team. This is a 6 month contract role with a potential to go permanent.
Reporting to the HR Manager, based in Sydney, Australia, you are looking to join a great team of dedicated HR professionals. You will uphold our culture by providing old fashioned service to employees in our United States and Canada operations.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Prepare and process bi-monthly payroll for 200+ employees
· Respond to all payroll and benefits queries in the HR email inbox within 24 hours
· Be the payroll system super user and point of contact
· Process all benefits elections and changes
· Prepare and complete all payroll and benefits reports and invoicing
· Conduct Time Off Audits
· Complete Employment Verifications
· Liaise with payroll and benefits 3rd party providers and agencies
· Maintain payroll and employee records
· Identify areas of improvement for payroll and benefits
The core hours of this role are from 9am to 6pm.

You are an experienced Payroll & Benefits specialist who thrives on being a subject matter expert and implementing continuous improvement.
Essential
· 3+ years' experience in full payroll processing and benefits administration
· MUST HAVE experience with ADP Workforce Now and Pay@Work
· Experience in USA (100+ employees) and Canada payroll and benefits
· Excellent attention to detail, time management and multitasking skills
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desirable
· Qualifications/certifications in payroll/benefits administration
· Knowledge of non-resident and foreign income
· Experience in a IT or Professional Services Environment
· Experience working remotely as part of a global HR team
