Paramount (STG) is hiring a Public Relations Manager; DOE

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

1. 5+ years of professional Public/Media Relations experience preferably in the arts and/or live entertainment industry.

2. Communications and/or marketing degree preferred.  BA degree in other disciplines may be applicable.

3. A high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the media, STG staff, clients, promoters and vendors, applying confidentiality and using discretionary judgment.

4. Experience planning, organizing and implementing projects in a timely manner with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

5. Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as a team member, using effective leadership skills and sound judgment in problem solving.

6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  

The successful candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and characteristics:

·       Good knowledge of local and national media

·       A passion for the arts from a local, national and international perspective

·       Passion for interacting within new and niche media formats

·       Creative approaches to standard and new media relationships

·       A deep appreciation for our region's arts and cultural assets

·       Courageous creativity

·       A desire to actively engage in the organization's continuing growth and development

 

 An understanding of and commitment to arts-based social justice and racial equity standards is key, as is a high appreciation for working across multiple communities of color and ethnicities.
