WA State Board for Community & Technical Colleges is hiring a Trainer - $65,000-$70,000 annually

The State Board for Community & Technical Colleges (SBCTC)  is hiring a Trainer for their Olympia office.

 

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in training, instructional design or related field OR at least one year of instructional design and development.

• Two or more years of teaching and/or training experience.

·         Experience or working knowledge of ERP systems or higher education systems. Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft preferred.

        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software, Microsoft SharePoint, and screen capturing software (including video).

        Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to assimilate and express complex technical and functional concepts.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Facilitation skills related to training and knowledge transfer for a broad range of end-users.

• Knowledge of or experience working in a college environment.

• Knowledge of eLearning technologies and relevant software/applications including learning management systems.

• Knowledge and/or experience developing computer-based simulation training such as the Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK).

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality of detailed work while meeting competing deadlines.

• Proven time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to skillfully gather and analyze information to develop alternative approaches and ideas.
