Temporary Laborer - $20.25
Perform routine manual labor in a variety of indoor and outdoor work area in all types of weather involving construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of public utilities. Use various types of hand and small power tools such as weed eater, hedge trimmer, chain saw, pole chain saw, plate compactor, jackhammer, and backpack blower. Work is usually done under immediate direction of a lead worker, and guidelines are built into the nature of this routine work. Specific guidelines and instructions exist for performing the work, and the tasks within each work area are clear-cut. Maintain work records and reports detailing all happenings throughout shift including all actions taken.
Temporary Maintenance Laborer - $23.80
May lead the work of Laborer's and Utility Laborer's, as well as other subordinate positions; and the work performed calls for more initiative, independence and self-direction in carrying out recurring assignments. The work is performed according to specific supervisory instruction or established procedures, and the employees often perform tasks independently. May be required to drive big trucks. May require working with concrete or asphalt.

a background check may be required
a current valid Flagger certification may be required
a complete driver's abstract (a five year driving record) may be requested
The pool of laborers that result from this posting will be used to fill temporary requests for 2015. If you would like to be considered for a Maintenance Laborer position that requires driving, please attach a current "Abstract of Complete Driving Record" (5year driving record).
