Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Full-time position available in a 106-bed Assisted Living Community. We are looking for a dynamic, caring individual who will provide our residents with quality care and who has an interest in working with an ethnically diverse resident population. The incumbent must be a team player, working with all members of the facility’s interdisciplinary care team; must have good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and must perform all duties in a resident-centered manner.
Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant; experience in long term care preferred but not required.
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and the Wellness Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for providing quality CNA services such as taking vitals, checking in on residents, providing assistance with personal care, providing linen change services, dining room service, reporting resident health status changes to the appropriate nursing staff, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and meeting resident care and other performance responsibilities in a timely manner.
