Research Support Associate I - Animal Husbandry
Provide basic services involving care, maintenance and welfare of animals; primarily rodents and non-human
primates. This position is physically demanding, fast paced and requires PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to be worn during each shift.
Position Overview
Maintenance/Cleaning/Prepping of cages in animal facility
(non-lab environment)
Equipment operation, QA checks, general facility custodial
duties, compliance with all company/government regulations
Lift/push/pull loads up to 50 pounds throughout shift
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent, animal experience desired
Ideal candidates comfortable working in research environment
Schedule flexibility to include weekends, holidays and overtime
Salary: $13.00 per hour; increase opportunity within 90 days
