Taco Time NW is seeking an Accountant at our Corporate Headquarters in Renton, WA. The individual in this position will perform a variety of professional accounting functions and tasks for our payroll department.
Salary: $49,000- $60,000 Annually
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
· Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
· Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statements and other reports.
· Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
· Substantiates financial transactions by organizing and auditing documents.
· Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
· Maintains financial security by following internal controls and conducting internal audits.
· Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
· Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
· Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
· Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
· Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
· Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Equivalent of a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
· Two or more years accounting experience.
· Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
· Super user in Excel and in Microsoft Office programs.
· Excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of restaurant operations desired.
· Knowledge in Bus Apps, Fixed Asset and Accounting Systems.
