King County is recruiting for a Budget Analyst II/Budget Analyst III
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:
- A Bachelor's degree in economics, public administration, statistics, public finance, or related field and at least 24 months full time paid employment in a related field;
o (or) substituting a Master's degree (or two years of additional education) in economics, public administration, statistics, public finance, or related field for 1 year of full time paid employment;
o (or) any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated analytical and evaluation skills as seen in the following areas: budget analysis, financial analysis, staffing analysis, program evaluation, policy evaluation, financial reporting, statistical analysis and economic analysis;
- Demonstrated ability define and see a project through to completion;
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex ideas and communicate them in an understandable way to others in both written and oral presentations;
- Demonstrated ability to contribute productively on a team of peers and/or external partne
