Program Manager - nonprofit - developmentally disabled clients

Program Manager (North Seattle/Shoreline, WA)

All Things HR is seeking a professional, compassionate Program Manager for a Seattle based nonprofit.

This nonprofit primarily serves diverse, multi-cultural, developmentally disabled clients.

We are looking for a proactive individual that has excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to manage the health and safety of our clients. Responsibilities include ensuring that all services are provided to meet the needs of our clients, providing supervision and training to our staff members,  ensuring that all WAC documentation and policies meet state standards, and developing professional relationships with clients, family members and all medical professionals involved in treatment plans. To complete these responsibilities, a Program Manager will spend a considerable amount of time visiting homes and transporting clients to appointments and activities.

To be considered for this position, candidates will need the following skills:

· Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years of related experience

· One year of supervisory experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

· Experience working with diverse populations including developmentally disabled adults

· Familiarity with DDD policies and WACs

· Ability to obtain Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) or Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC)

· Demonstrates initiative and strong problem solving skills

· Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Additional Requirements:

· Valid Washington State Driver’s License

· Insured vehicle that is safe to transport clients

· Ability to lift and transfer people

Salary varies depending on experience. After fulfilling the eligibility period, regular full time

employees are offered benefits, including medical and PTO.
