CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE:
Performs and combination of the following duties in care of residents in Assisted Living setting under the supervision of RN and LPN’s.
Answers call lights when residents need assistance. Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents. Serves and collects food trays and assist residents requiring help. Transports residents using wheelchair or assists residents to walk. Turn and repositions bedfast residents, along or with assistance to maintain good skin integrity. Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors and answers telephone. Takes and records vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates). Tracks Food and fluid intake and output as directed Cleans, sanitizes, stores, prepares and issues supplies as needed/directed.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Comprehension of regulatory laws and policies and procedures
Ability to multi task
Ability to maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations
Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check.
Must have Current CAN license, 2 step PPD, CPR and First Aid HIV training
Will need to obtain Mental Health and Dementia certificate within 60 days of hire
Nurse delegation needed for med techs
Proof of 12 CEU’s a year
Both Day and Evening Shifts Available
