Who You Are.

 

You will be responsible for performing a variety of industrial or heavy warehousing functions in our Kent location, which may include inventory control, supply documentation, data input, material distribution and/or delivery.

 

You Will:

 

·         Process orders accurately and issue material and supplies for production and sales orders.

·         Follow up on daily orders to ensure product is delivered for shipment or assembly.

·         Maintain necessary documentation and forward to appropriate groups for all transactions.

·         Perform a visual inspection of products, report shortages and defects to the appropriate work groups.

·         Handle and package critical parts.

·         Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant. May move materials manually or using hand truck, electric dolly, hand-operated crane or hoist.

·         Responsible for regular cycle counting of product to ensure the inventory is accurate and verifies that all transactions are done properly and in a timely manner.

·         Actively participate and contribute to team efforts for process improvement projects.

·         Comply with all safety and environmental requirements and company policies.

·         Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

·         Complete various clean-up and housekeeping activities, including records, maintaining tools and equipment, and monitoring storage areas to ensure they are kept clean and that supplies and equipment are stored in a neat and orderly manner.

·         Multi-task and be able to change from one task to another without the loss of efficiency or composure.

·         Deliver and pick up material and/or parts from the production shops.

·         Pick and process Pump production orders.

·         Process material requisitions.

 

You Have:

 

      The ability to operate a fork-lift

      2 – 5 years of warehousing experience

      High school graduate or equivalent training
